SAN MARZANO PENNE PASTA

(Serves 4-6)
Ingredients:
  • 2 T. extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 tsp fresh minced garlic
  • 20 oz cooked Penne pasta (8 oz uncooked)
  • 2 T. fresh shredded basil
  • 1/2 tsp extra virgin olive oil (optional)
  • 2 oz fresh Mozzarella (optional)
  • 1 jar (14 oz) Green Mill San Marzano Pizza Sauce
  • Fresh cracked sea salt (optional)
  • Fresh cracked black pepper
Preparation:
  1. Cook pasta according to package instructions.
  2. Drain pasta and toss with 1 T. olive oil.
  3. Sautee garlic in 1 T. olive oil over medium heat in sauce pan, add sauce.
  4. Heat Green Mill San Marzano Pizza Sauce in sauce pan until hot.
  5. Toss pasta, sauce and fresh basil.
  6. Place on platter or in big pasta bowl.
  7. Grind sea salt and black pepper over pasta. (according to taste)
  8. Top with fresh Mozzarella and drizzle with 1/2 tsp olive oil.
